Consultation
Whether online or in-person at my Portland studio, our consultation will cover everything you need. We’ll take a look at our client closet, discuss location options, explore your vision for the session, and go over props and backdrops to bring it all together.
Session
A typical session lasts about an hour, while newborn sessions generally take 2 to 3 hours, allowing time for breaks, feeding, and extra cuddles. Whether we’re at the studio or an outdoor location, I’ll guide you with prompts to help capture natural, candid moments.
Ordering Appointment
About a week after your session, we’ll meet at the studio to review all your images, select your favorites, and decide on the best ways to display them. No matter what you choose, each image printed includes a digital copy, perfect for announcements, holiday cards, or sharing online with friends and family.
Product Pickup
Once your products are ready, typically about 4-6 weeks after your ordering appointment, we’ll arrange for pickup at the studio or delivery directly to you. I’ll make sure your prints, albums, or wall art arrive in perfect condition and ready for display in your home.
What To Wear
If your session includes family images, think about how the colors and outfits you choose will complement the space where your images will hang as wall art. For studio sessions, I recommend neutral, well-fitted clothing that you feel comfortable in. Textured fabrics like lace, tulle, muslin, and corduroy photograph beautifully!
